German Shepherd! Fred Lanting Judging. I talked with Mr Lanting for
a while after the show and
talked shop. He was familiar with all of your
names, and when I told him I
bought Sky from Jean, he said to be sure to let
her now he put the first
points on Sky. He liked her temperament and she wasn't at all
bothered by having him check
her teeth. When I asked point blank about her breed
worthiness, he said she'd be good
to breed, but strongly emphasized I get her
PennHIP checked first." -Dale

"Abby" (a.k.a. Pink Jewel Collar Girl) - owned by Dani and John Hoenemier
“I have started training my Abby, Royal Red Rover Abigail, and we had our third training session last night. Our trainer is excellent, he used to be an AKC show judge and has a tremendous amount of experience with shepherds. Well, I just wanted to let you know that Abby amazed us both in her training session: she was fabulous! I was too overloaded this week to do my daily training .. and to our surprise she sat, did down, down stay, down stay circling, stay standing, heeled perfectly (including turns), did sit from down, recall and sit, and a nice heeling finishing move. Mind you, last week most of this was a mystery. It was quite the thing to see. She is incredibly alert, with great eye contact, and so smart. Our trainer has said what a great conformation she has and wonderful movement, he's enthralled with her. He has not had the opportunity before to train a white, and was from the beginning excited to meet her.” - Dani
August 2002 Update: "Abby is growing up to be a wonderful girl. She has almost lost that puppy face .. but not quite all the way yet. We are planning to take some updated pictures in the next few weeks. Abby has the greatest personality, very willing, secure, and very funny; she can be quite the goofy girl. Her training is going well; she does basic obedience both voice and hand signals only. She's very smart, picks up new stuff by repeating just once. Quite amazing. I'm hoping to start working on CGC soon, and then on to offleash. Anyhow, thought these pix might be nicer than the one you have currently. Once I get updated ones in, I'll forward those on!" -Dani
PostNote: "She does have a beautiful head doesn't she? Exactly what I had been hoping for. And ah, her movement, it is something to see, really. We are horse people so notice that easily. She has this gorgeous extended trot, so light. We count ourselves very lucky."
"Duchess"
"I am Jan Malopy and we have our dog Duchess who is very smart, spoiled and has way too much for any puppy and we love her very much. She is going to puppy school Wednesday. It is our first day and it should be interesting. She is a jumper and her walk is great. She was house trained in four days! She comes to work with my husband and I two days a week to be with people. She loves kids and is not too rough. She has her own 5 foot long couch and a small clothes basket that all her toys are in - she likes to drag it all around. We have clients that come in to visit her and play with her in our Jewelry Store and our vet is crazy about her! He said her temperament is great! She is the best dog we have had yet. She is our third White Shepherd. Later, Jan."
Update 7/20/02 - "Well Duchess went to puppy school and now she is in the next class.. She was in our newspaper under “Pampered Pets”. They came in to do an interview on Duchess. She is so big and spoiled.. She is such a good dog.. When she comes to work, everyone thinks she is so beautiful.. Customers want us to put a sign in the window – “Duchess Is In” or “Duchess Is Out”. If you saw her, you would want her back because she is so loving and friendly to everyone.” - Jan
"Nikki"
"Royal Nikyta - a.k.a. Nikki - is doing wonderfully. She was spayed on April 11 and is recovering very well.
Nikki is a digger and a chewer, but nothing out of the ordinary. She has been enrolled in an obedience class that starts next week and I know this will help us train her.
I am waiting for our latest roll of film to be used before sending any pictures - should be any day.
We are waiting to get just the right shot of Nikki when she poses just like her mother.
Nikki is one of the most vocal dogs we have had and she constantly makes us laugh with her "conversations".
Nikki is a very loving dog - she thinks Maggie is her mother/sister and she makes me feel very special when she pushes open the door to get to me when I come home from work. Ray and I love her very much and think she is a beautiful animal.
We will send photos when new ones are available."
